Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and will be moving to That Artsy Reader Girl on January 16th of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week I made a list of all the books I never got around to reading in 2017 but meant to, as a matter of fact. Note: Each title is linked to the book on Goodreads.

Top Ten Books We Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To (and totally plan to get to in 2018!!)

  1. Truthwitch and Six of Crows are both on my TBR. I scored a free copy of Truthwitch via Tor.com so hopefully that’ll make it easier to get read this year!

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!

Six of Crows also made my list! I’ve been wanting to get to it since its release and I still haven’t. I still haven’t read To Kill A Mockingbird either. I hope you enjoy these when you get to them.

Thanks, I will make sure I’m in the mood to read them because when I started reading Six of Crows, I could not pay attention but that happens a lot, and unless something grabs my attention, it’s over for me. Audiobooks help, but that gets expensive because I cannot follow the story as close unless I’m reading it along. I am a sorry excuse for a reader ain’t I? lol I’m a basket case the majority of the time.

      1. Oh, that’s happened to me for sure! Some books just require a certain mindset? Oh yes, having both audiobook and the physical book definitely gets expensive. No, you’re not, don’t worry! 😊 We all have different ways of absorbing the content we read, whether by audiobook, physical book, both, or anything in between. ❤️

Thanks! I started Six of Crows but I don’t know if Leigh Bardugo is worth the hype tbh. It has been so long since I’ve read the Covenant Series that I’ve forgotten what it’s about but I do remember being obsessed and loving it so much! The Titan is of course a new series so we shall see if it lives up to it’s predecessor. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Great post! I really recommend To Kill a Mockingbird- I really wanted to read it for ages, and when I finally got round to it, I really enjoyed it 🙂
